Carell to play Streep's therapist?

Steve Carell is in talks to join Meryl Streep on Great Hope Springs, it has been reported.
The star of Despicable Me and Date Night is looking to star alongside the two-time Oscar-winning actress in the romantic drama, directed by The Devil Wears Prada's David Frankel, said Deadline.
He would play Dr Feld, a therapist who tries to help a couple rekindle their loveless marriage after 31 years, with Meryl as the wife.
The role of Meryl's husband is yet to be decided.
Next up for Steve, who will be leaving the US version of The Office after seven years, is Crazy, Stupid Love opposite Ryan Gosling and Julianne Moore.
Meryl is currently filming The Iron Lady, where she portrays former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, in London.
