Cameron Diaz cool with Cruise kiss
Cameron Diaz has revealed she wasn't nervous about locking lips with Tom Cruise.
The duo are reunited in action comedy Knight And Day, where they play a fugitive couple on the run, 11 years after they starred in Vanilla Sky together.
"I was probably less nervous than when things were blowing up over my head - I trust Tom a lot more than I do explosions... He's so great, it's a very smooth ride," she said at the film's premiere in London.
"We're serving the characters, it's literally the same work as driving the car. You're just trying to do the best you can for the story and the characters."
Cameron - who admitted the film is "the best job ever" - told how her co-star would make her laugh throughout filming.
"He's a naturally funny guy. He's got a great sense of humour," she said.
"What he's particularly wonderful at is soft comedy - it's not the over-the-top slapstick. The soft comedy is harder to do than the over-the-top comedy."
She has no hesitations in collaborating with Tom again in the future.
"We've seen each other over the last 10 years but to work with him again, especially with something of this large of a scope and with all the variables of comedy, action and romance, it really was a great way to come back together to work again. I'd work with him again in a heartbeat," she added.
:: Knight And Day will be released on August 6.
