Nicolas Cage is filming the sequel to Ghost Rider in Turkey.
According to the country's Anatolia news agency, the Hollywood actor has arrived at the film set in the town of Goreme in the Cappadocia region, which is famous for caves, houses made of rock and unusual mushroom-shaped stone formations.
Nicolas reprises his role as Johnny Blaze, a stunt motorcyclist who morphs into the demon vigilante Ghost Rider, in the comic book movie sequel.
Parts of the movie will also reportedly be filmed in the Turkish province of Denizli, where white limestone terraces formed of calcium deposits are another big tourist attraction.
The star recently promised the sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance, would be quite different from the first film.
He said: "(It's going to be) very different. A completely new experience and that's how the directors choose to see it. I mean there's even a new origin sequence."
Nicolas revealed that working with directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor was a true adventure, saying: "They're not like anybody else I've worked with. They do things with the camera that are just extraordinary."
He added: "They're brand new. The director's on rollerblades and hanging from wires with the camera, holding on to the motorcycle and it's going to be really wild."
