Burt Reynolds leaves hospital
Burt Reynolds has been released from hospital after a planned heart bypass operation, the actor's manager said.
Erik Kritzer said in a statement that Reynolds' operation in Florida had been scheduled for more than a month.
He said the 74-year-old star of Smokey And The Bandit, Deliverance and Boogie Nights told him that he had "a great motor with brand new pipes" and was "feeling great".
Last year, Reynolds spent time in a Florida rehabilitation centre after treatment for painkiller abuse following back surgery.
