Bryce puts The Originals on hold
Bryce Dallas Howard has revealed she's put her directorial debut on hold because of her pregnancy.
The Twilight star, who is director Ron Howard's daughter, was due to make a film called The Originals this year, but this date has been pushed back because she's expecting a baby with husband Seth Gabel.
She told Collider: "The Originals is a movie that I co-wrote. I was going to be doing it this year but I've got another little production going on! So we're probably going to be doing it sometime next year. I've been working on it for a while."
Describing the film, the 30-year-old said: "It's still early enough that I'm precious with it, but it's sort of like a Big Chill for my generation."
The actress added that she's been pleasantly surprised with how well her latest film The Help is doing at the box office.
She said: "I knew that the movie was very solid, I loved the movie, I loved the book and knew the book was very successful and hoped the movie would resonate as well, but I didn't think it was going to be as financially successful as it has been and that's been awesome."
Bryce can next be seen on screen alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen in 50/50.
