Brand tells of kissing scenes
Russell Brand told how he kissed girls - and liked it - during acting scenes.
The comedian turned movie star told how he made the most of his "free opportunity to start kissing people".
Brand, whose fiancee Katy Perry sprang to fame with the hit I Kissed A Girl, was speaking to radio host Dave Berry for the Xfm Breakfast Show in an interview.
Speaking about kissing scenes with female co-stars, Brand said: "Say in the kissing scenes, this is really good, check this out in case you ever have to do it.
"You're in a film and like in this scene you kiss a girl, something brilliant in my mind, and I'm thankful for this neurological impulse, goes 'they won't know if you just kiss her normal and it's not even acting at all.
"'Just kiss her and that and get off with her'.
"I did that and it's good."
The star, who plays hellraising rocker Aldous Snow in his latest film Get Him To The Greek, said: "It's not like I stuck my tongue in their mouths.
"It's just what I didn't do is I wasn't pretending, I was just going 'right, kiss her' as if it was a free opportunity to start kissing people and I did it with Pink, Alanis Morissette, Katy - now obviously that worked out really well."
But Brand drew the line at his movie co-star Jonah Hill, saying: "Jonah Hill, I kissed him but I did keep the acting barrier up."
