Bon Jovi to join New Year's Eve?
Jon Bon Jovi is reportedly flexing his acting muscle by joining the star-studded cast of New Year's Eve.
Seth Meyers and German actor Til Schweiger are also set to join Garry Marshall's ensemble drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Bon Jovi rocker, who previously appeared in National Lampoon's Pucked in 2006, would play a successful rock star who accidentally bumps into his ex, played by Halle Berry, at a party.
US comedian Seth would be a broke dad who is eager for his wife (Jessica Biel) to deliver the first baby of the year to win 25,000 US dollars and soon finds himself in a heated competition.
New Year's Eve, considered a follow-up from last year's Valentine's Day, tells intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they experience bittersweet drama and poignant romance over the course of the day.
Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele and Sofia Vergara are also in the cast.
It is scheduled for release this Christmas.
