Bill Condon in Twilight talks?
Dreamgirls' Bill Condon is in talks to direct the last movies in the Twilight saga.
The teen vampire films starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as star-crossed lovers Bella Swann and Edward Cullen - based on the books by Stephenie Meyer - have become a global sensation, and the final book Breaking Dawn is expected to be split into two movies.
Condon is in negotiations to direct the final chapter and a deal is likely to close quickly, Variety reports.
Catherine Hardwicke directed the first film, while Chris Weitz was at the helm of the second, Twilight: New Moon.
David Slade directed the third movie, Eclipse, which is due out this year.
Summit has hired Melissa Rosenberg to adapt each book for the big screen.
Twilight star Kristen said earlier this year it would be "heartbreaking" if the plot of Breaking Dawn had to be cut to fit into one movie while Robert said: "I don't mind either way."
