Jessica Biel has been cast as feisty fighter Melina in the remake of sci fi action movie Total Recall.
Kate Beckinsale has now also been confirmed to star as the other female lead Lori in the film, directed by her husband Len Wiseman and starring Colin Farrell as freedom fighter Doug Quaid, Collider.com reports.
Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision claims that Bill Nighy has been cast as Quatto, the leader of the resistance.
The remake has been written by Kurt Wimmer and is based on the Philip K Dick story, We Can Remember It For You Wholesale.
Ethan Hawke has been confirmed for a cameo, and has revealed he has a five page monologue in the film.
The original movie followed Quaid, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, as he bought a literal dream vacation from a company called Rekall Inc, which sells implanted memories, to try and escape a recurring dream of journeying to Mars.
He comes to believe he is a secret agent and ends up on a Martian colony, where he fights to overthrow a despotic ruler controlling the production of air.
The updated film is not about the Martian colony and instead involves nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai, with Douglas Quaid - a factory worker who begins to believe he is a spy, although he doesn't know for which side.
The movie is due to begin shooting in June.
