The charming, award-winning documentary features Irish men and women who, at 100-plus, are older than the state itself.

Viewers fell in love with Bessie Nolan (103) from Drimnagh, Dublin, one of the featured centenarians, who details why she believes "everybody should die at 70".

Meanwhile, the oldest Irish person ever on record, 113-year-old Kathleen Snavely, says she believes the secret to a long life is the odd Manhattan cocktail.

'Older Than Ireland' won the Best Feature Documentary award at the 2015 Galway Film Fleadh.

Sadly, Kathleen and eight of of the other centenarians passed away after the documentary was shot.
