Banksy film is Sundance surprise
Banksy has turned his hand to film-making - and his documentary is the surprise premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.
The street artist's film Exit Through The Gift Shop is the Utah festival's Spotlight Surprise, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Rhys Ifans will narrate the documentary, which is billed as an exploration of street art.
"Sundance has shown films by unknown artists, but never an anonymous one," said festival director John Cooper, who went on to describe the film as "part personal journey and part expose on the art world, with its mind-altering mix of hot air and hype."
Several of Banksy's artworks have appeared in Park City, the home of Sundance, this week, with the artist apparently enlisting crop circle hoaxer John Lundberg.
