Ashley Banjo has revealed that the long-awaited Diversity film is still in development but "will definitely happen".

There had been rumours that the former Britain's Got Talent winners would appear on the big screen in a biopic, and the 24-year-old frontman admitted that they are still in the early stages.

"The thing with movies is they take forever to happen. This has already been a couple of years in the planning and stuff, and we are still in that stage," he said.

"We haven't had time to get it ready. It will definitely happen in the future."

Ashley - who is a judge on Sky1's Got To Dance - added: "It is a biopic. It's about our future but mainly our past before Britain's Got Talent. It will be cool."

The dance troupe, who won the third series of Britain's Got Talent in 2009, have already appeared as themselves in StreetDance 3D, and their leader reckoned they would consider all their potential screen options.

"Yeah, if people ask us. We like inspiring people so we wouldn't want to do anything that is harmful or is detrimental to that, but apart from that, we are up for anything. We are up for a challenge, we are up for something different," he said.
