Bale to help build Aronofsky's ark?
Christian Bale is reportedly in talks to get on board Darren Aronofsky's upcoming film, Noah's Ark.
The Batman star is tipped to play Noah in the forthcoming adaptation of the Biblical epic tale, reported Vulture.
Darren - who last directed Black Swan - has said his Noah is a dark, complicated character who "struggles with survivor's guilt".
He also said of the movie: "I think it's really timely because it's about environmental apocalypse which is the biggest theme, for me, right now for what's going on on this planet. So I think it's got these big, big themes that connect with us.
"Noah was the first environmentalist. He's a really interesting character. Hopefully they'll let me make it."
Regency studio president Hutch Parker has insisted that "there hasn't been any change [on the project] since it was last reported".
Christian - who received an Oscar nomination for his performance in The Fighter - is currently reprising his role as the Caped Crusader for The Dark Knight Rises, and is also set to star in the drama The Last Photograph, about a war correspondent in Afghanistan who is the sole survivor of an attack on Americans.
