Anne Hathaway is set to star in upcoming movie The Lifeboat.
The Oscar-winning Les Miserable actress will also be a producer on the big screen adaptation of Charlotte Rogan's book, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Anne, 30, is expected to play Grace Winter, who is standing trial for murder in 1914.
As part of her testimony the young woman recounts how she and her new husband survived the sinking of a transatlantic ship only to end up in a lifeboat.
Problems arise because there are too many people in the boat and the survivors soon start thinking about getting rid of one or two people.
The movie is in the early stages and so far no director is attached.
Anne has several films coming up, including drama Song One and Christopher Nolan's science fiction project Interstellar.
