Andy Serkis and Nick Cave in Opera?

Andy Serkis and Nick Cave are teaming up for a motion-capture film version of The Threepenny Opera.
Sex And Drugs And Rock And Roll actor Andy revealed the news to Screen Daily in Berlin - the birthplace of the opera - where he is promoting the Ian Dury biopic.
"It's nice to announce it in its hometown," he said.
There are no further details on the pair's roles in the project.
The Threepenny Opera is a Marxist critique of capitalism, focusing on the antihero Macheath and the relationship with his father-in-law who wants him hanged.
There was a film version of the opera called Mack The Knife in 1989, starring Raul Julia in the leading role alongside Richard Harris, Julie Walters, Bill Nighey and Roger Daltrey.
