Amanda hands out advice on carpet
Amanda Seyfried has dished out relationship advice at a special screening of her new film in rainy London.
The American actress, in a stunning Doo.Ri bejewelled dress and Pierre Hardy shoes, was accompanied by co-star Channing Tatum at the UK Gala screening of Dear John at the Odeon Kensington.
The pair braved the weather to sign autographs and have their photos taken with fans who had waited hours in the pouring rain.
Amanda, who joked about "being solo" on the red carpet in the absence of boyfriend Dominic Cooper, told a reporter who's waiting for a proposal from her boyfriend of 10 years: "Rings are over-rated, I think marriage doesn't necessarily happen to two people who love each other - if you love him, I say it's OK [to wait]."
Asked if she plans to tie the knot with Mamma Mia! co-star Dominic, she replied: "Oh no, no, no. Do I want to get married? I might maybe in 10 years but I don't see myself getting married. I don't think marriage is as important as kids are."
She was surprised by the turn-out, saying: "I wouldn't even wait for me - or Channing!"
Channing, who attended with wife Jenna Dewan, admitted he loves the wet weather.
"I like it. In Los Angeles, there's no rain ever - it's always sunny - and I miss the rain," he said.
Amanda and Channing play on-screen lovers in the tear-jerker, based on the Nicholas Sparks book, which is released on April 14.
