Al Pacino to star in Son Of No One
Al Pacino is replacing Robert De Niro in Son of No One.
The Scarface star has signed up to appear alongside Channing Tatum in the police thriller - about a young cop assigned to work in the working class neighbourhood where he grew up, and is threatened by an old secret which could detroy him and his family - according to The Hollywood Reporter.
De Niro, who has worked with Pacino in the past, had previously been attached to the project.
Terrence Howard, Katie Holmes and Ray Liotta are all also in talks to co-star.
Fighting director Dito Montiel wrote the script and aims to start shooting next month.
