MIRIAM O’Callaghan is set to return to airwaves with her own show in three weeks- with a slightly different format than what her avid listeners will be used to.

‘Sunday with Miriam’ is set to launch on November 17 at her usual time slot of 10am on RTE Radio One.

A spokesperson for RTE revealed that the hour long programme will replace the popular ‘Miriam Meets…’ show.

‘Miriam Meets…’ first launched four years ago as a Saturday summer show, and it’s popularity secured it a permanent weekend slot- broadcasting just before the Marian Finuncane show on Sunday mornings.

The ‘Prime Time’ presenter has been presenting the popular weekday ‘John Murray Show’ while Murray was absent due to illness, but he is set to return to hosting duties on Monday.

RTE said ‘Sunday with Miriam’ will broadcast live, and feature human interest stories and music.
