The Cost: €8.25 for chicken and bacon triple-decker sandwich (€6.25) and soup (€2) deal.
The Look: A glass box on the docks, this has lovely panoramic river views, with tables inside and out.
The Goods: Standard line in sandwiches, panini, wraps, bagels, salads and baked potatoes. It ain't cheap, though. Sandwich prices start at €4.35 takeaway, panini are all €6.25 and salads are €6.45. You pay only slightly more to eat in and that's a much better deal with this scenery.
The Bad: Service is a disaster, confirmed by a return visit. Customers are ignored for too long, even a quick hello from the harried staff to register they've seen you would go a long way. Tomato and red pepper soup is slightly too sweet.
The Result: The triple-decker sandwich is a bit of a cracker, though. Fresh chicken breast, bacon, mixed salad leaves, tomatoes and a tomato chutney. Improved service and this would be a regular haunt.
The Grade: B-.
