The Cost: €6.20 for toasted chicken wrap special.
The Look: Rather low-key, with seven very small round tables that are rather cramped for sharing but perfect for going solo. Does provide a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle outside -- until a bleary stag party arrives for the good value all-day breakfast (€6.90).
The Goods: Predictable range of sandwiches, panini, baguettes, with one soup of the day, all available for takeaway as well as eating in. While not particularly bargain-basement prices, they are quite good value for this neck of the woods.
The Bad: Somewhat limited selection of sandwich fillings, though some nice focaccia options. And apart from the breakfast eggs, none of the hot food is cooked fresh to order.
The Result: Service is with a smile, though decidedly relaxed (slow). The wrap is stuffed with chicken goujons, lettuce and jalapeno peppers, but it isn't exactly the most flavoursome. Mind you, the all-day brekkies passing me by do have a certain soakage appeal.
The Grade: C+.
