With less than two weeks to go to the start of the new series of Love/Hate, RTE bosses have released some exclusive photos from the show.

Days after releasing a teaser trailer of favourite Fran going a little loco while in garda custody, new shots of the main characters in the fourth series of the award winning show have been released to whet the appetite of fans

Fans will be happy to see that Tommy (played by Killian Scott) has apparently made a recovery after crime boss Nidge put him into a coma in series three.

However, one notable absentee from the line-up is Darren (Robert Sheenan). The final episode of season three last year drew nearly a million viewers as leading man Robert Sheehan's character Darren was shot.

The new season of the RTE series will see Tony-winning actor, Brian F O'Byrne, playing Detective Mick Moynihan, heading up a team attempting to take down Nidge.
