Loughlin Deegan: my perfect weekend
Published 24/09/2010 | 05:00
The plan for Saturday night?
As many Absolut Fringe shows as I can squeeze in.
Must see gig/performance of the weekend?
Well obviously it's True Enough: The Interactive Post-Fact Game Show With Real Cash Prizes playing at Pantibar. Did you really need to ask?
Pub/restaurant/club you couldn't live without?
The Odessa Club -- an oasis of calm, good food, wine and company. Except when it's doubling as our Theatre Festival Club or for the great Movie Club or the ultra-cool Kaleidoscope soirees, or when it's packed to the rafters with hipsters at an intimate gig by the latest amazeballs band that you haven't even heard of yet!
Best weekend ever?
That one recently where I slept for Ireland.
Worst weekend ever?
The other one recently when I had to get dressed.
Favourite pre-going out ritual?
The bit where I decide I'm too old for all this really, and maybe I just won't bother to get dressed after all.
Top post-pub munchies?
A big steak at the Trocadero Restaurant -- they are very patient with us luvvies there in the wonderful Troc.
Weirdest taxi queue moment?
Who queues for taxis any more? Weren't they deregulated recently? Live between the canals and walk home, that's my advice.
Best chat-up line at 2am?
Did you remember to set the alarm clock?
Your perfect date
