Channing Tatum has decided his "hunk days" are behind him
The Hollywood stud was a stripper before making it big in movies and even starred in Magic Mike, which was loosely based on his career as an exotic dancer.
He is renowned for his hulking physique and although he's proud of his muscles, the star is also concerned they are eclipsing his other talents.
"Chan doesn't want to become an ageing heartthrob and is telling friends his hunk days are over," a source told National Enquirer.
The 32-year-old star has reportedly decided it's time for him to focus on other movie roles. Rather than whipping off his clothes in all his films, he is on the hunt for more meaningful projects.
"He's under the bizarre illusion that he's too old to take his shirt off and that his abs are overshadowing his abilities as an actor," the insider giggled.
There could be other reasons behind Channing's seeming change of heart. He and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum are expecting their first child and he's thought to be taking his impending fatherhood duties seriously.
"I have never changed a diaper before, so I may need some help learning. I don't have friends who have kids, so it's going to be an interesting experience to learn how to change a diaper. I hope I don't have any problems where the diaper falls off and the baby [poops] on the ground," he previously admitted.
"Once the baby is born, I'll definitely do the diaper changing. If it means touching the [poop] and getting peed on, I'll still do it. I'm up for the challenge."
