Model Nadia Forde has admitted that she was overcome with butterflies before singing the national anthem at last night’s Ireland v Latvia friendly.
The Dublin model sang in front of a crowd of 40,000 fans and says she was “really nervous”.
Perhaps it was the new killer management combination of Roy Keane and Martin O’Neill that raised expectations on the night, she said.
“I was actually really nervous tonight – I don’t know why,” she told the Sunday Independent’s Barry Egan.
“You can hear the crowd roar which is amazing.”
The model said she has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline, but for the moment she’s enjoying her singing career.
The top model-turned-singer stunned her first Aviva audience in September when she sang Amhran na bhFiann in front of a 50,000 strong crowd.
The busy aspiring actress is currently dividing her time between Dublin, London and LA.
