Leo needs warmth, whether from a log-fire, hot water bottle, or the Sun itself. The Zodiac Lion has a strong constitution and can weather most things but must take care of circulation above all. Leo rules the heart so Lions must nurture this vital organ with the correct diet, exercise and emotional support.
Stretching exercises, swimming and yoga are all great exercises for The Lion who needs to guard against back problems in later life. Maintaining suppleness and flexibility will protect both the flow of energy and the posture of Leo.
Any form of movement that requires imagination and self-expression is great leonine exercise. Music and dance keeps the heart in peak condition, along with a daily constitutional in the fresh air.
Leo is well advised to stay away from formal exercise or team sports unless it is possible to avoid the natural inclination to show off! Pumping iron is not for Leo either – for the same reason.
