Ubisoft are continuing the build up to Assassin's Creed Unity with the reveal of their latest character: Elise.

Revealed in a new CGI trailer (below,) we see game protagonist Amo rushing through the streets to save Elise from beheading. Fans will no doubt raise an eyebrow, as noblewoman Elise is a Templar, sworn enemies of the Assassins. Speculation suggests that the two opposing characters will cross path throughout the game and form an unlikely bond.

Ubisoft and penguin books have also announced a new Assassin's Creed book by Oliver Bowden. Told from Elise’s perspective, the book follows her and Arno as they are drawn into the centuries-old battle between the Assassins and the Templars.

Assassin's Creed Unity is released on October 28th
