Peter Dinklage vs Nolan North in Destiny voice face off

So the latest update to massively popular shooter Destiny replaces the audio of Peter Dinklage with Nolan North's tones
In the massively popular shooter you're accompanied by a floating robot called Ghost who leads you through some of the story content and tries to be funny from time to time. On release back in September 2014, Ghost was voiced by Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage and stirred some controversy for his lifeless delivery.
A year on and Dinklage's vocal performance has been entirely erased in favour of frequent voice artist Nolan North (Uncharted, Deadpool). Lots of different reasons were given, including Dinklage's busy schedule and the fact that they wanted to include a lot more voicework in upcoming DLC pack The Taken King.

North's voice is definitely a bit livlier in some areas but overall its a very similar performance, though that could be down to the need to keep the timings the same to avoid having to change how sequences play out. One thing is certain, we're going to be hearing a lot more of Ghost in the future and that means plenty of Nolan North's tones. Which is never a bad thing.
Destiny's The Taken King DLC is coming on the 15th of September 2015.
