At 3am on Monday morning, the man's car was spotted drifting across the lanes in Vaughan, Canada.

Footage released by local police shows the vehicle moving very slowly as the driver stops the car, starts again and pulls a quick U-turn.

The video shows officers on the ground pulling him over to question him after becoming suspicious of his behaviour.

The driver revealed he was on a mission to catch Pokemon for the popular augmented-reality game, and received a stern warning from police.

In the clip, an unnamed officer can be heard saying: “Hopefully he got all his Pokemons (sic).”
