When asked whether more of the show's male actors should shed their clothes, she said “ Yes, of course. Why are all the women naked? “I mean good-looking guys. I want to see Conleth Hill and [Nikolaj Coster-Waldau] and Peter Dinklage.”

Speaking during a recent press conference in London, she jokingly added “We’re going to talk to [writers] David Benioff and Dan Weiss.”

Kekilli, who plays prostitute Shae, is another actress to call for more male nudity on the show, her co-star Carice van Houten has also expressed similar sentiments.

Though Game of Thrones is known for its sexual content, it is usually the female characters who are naked while their male counterparts remain clothed.

Most of the adult female characters have bared their flesh at one time or another during the course of the past three seasons.

The German actress will be returning for the fourth season of the show which promises to be even more thrilling than last year.

Season three featured many plot twists and turns, including the Red Wedding, a particularly harrowing sequence that left many viewers reeling.

She said that when she read the script she couldn’t believe it “ I was like ‘no, it’s not happening now, it’s a dream’. You know, they just wake up and like it’s a dream like Dallas”.

“No, no – you’re not doing that because the fans love [those characters],” she added.
