Will Ferrell has joined the cast of Flamingo Thief
Will Ferrell is to become a flamingo thief in his new role, starring in a film of the same name.
The Anchorman star has been cast as Tim Forrester, a lawyer who becomes obsessed with stealing figurines of flamingos after his wife leaves him, Variety reports.
Will's fellow Frat Pack actor Ben Stiller is among the producers on the project, which will be written by You, Me And Dupree's Michael LeSieur.
Michael will adapt the story from the novel by Susan Trott.
Will last appeared in indie comedy drama Everything Must Go about an alcoholic who loses his job and is thrown out by his wife, and finds himself living in his front yard where his wife has dumped all his possessions.
He will next appear in Casa de Mi Padre , as Spanish-language comedy set on a Mexico ranch.
