Steve Carell is reportedly in talks to star in another romantic comedy.
The US Office star - who stars in forthcoming film Date Night with Tina Fey and is already said to be in talks to reunite with her in new romcom Mail Order Groom - is now being lined up to star in a new Warner Brothers film, Variety reports.
The studio has apparently spent two million dollars on an untitled film spec from the writer of animation Cars, Dan Fogelman, which is described as a "Love Actually-style" story about a man dealing with a marital crisis who attempts to restore his relationship with his kids.
Fogelman is said to have written the film with Carell in mind and Warners are keen for it to be his next project.
The Hollywood Reporter recently revealed Carell and Fey are in line to star in Mail Order Groom, a film about a naive single American woman who, after finding herself unlucky in love in the US, buys a husband from Eastern Europe.
The 40-year-old Virgin star and the 30 Rock actress will be seen together on the big screen in Date Night in April.
The comedy follows a married couple whose date night becomes a wild adventure involving cops, gangsters and everything in between, co-starring Mark Wahlberg, Ray Liotta, Mark Ruffalo and James Franco.
