Morgan Freeman would star alongside Tom Cruise and Andrea Riseborough
Morgan Freeman has joined the cast of Tom Cruise's new sci-fi movie.
The 74-year-old Wanted star will have a major role in post-apocalyptic movie Oblivion, according to Deadline.com.
Morgan and Tom will share the screen with WE actress Andrea Riseborough and former Bond Girl Olga Kurylenko.
In the film, Earth has become a wasteland and the human race are living above it in the clouds. Mission Impossible star Tom will play a veteran soldier stationed on the planet, who repairs drones that fight off alien life.
Quantum Of Solace actress Olga will play the soldier's partner and Andrea will star as a new love interest.
The project will be directed by Joseph Kosinski.
