Joel Moore 'magically' plays bass
Joel Moore turns into an accomplished bass player in a forthcoming film, thanks to what he describes as "the magic of cinema".
The Dodgeball star, who can next be seen in James Cameron's Avatar, is also set to appear on the big screen alongside Alessandro Nivola and Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin in Janie Jones.
Describing the plot, he said: "Alessandro plays a washed up rock star and I'm the bass player in his band and I don't play bass but for the movie I did - a ha - the magic of filmmaking!"
He continued: "Abigail plays his daughter who ultimately comes on tour with him so there's a nice juxtaposition between their two lives."
Joel also commented on the similarities between comedy Dodgeball, in which he played lovestruck Owen, and 3-D fantasy film Avatar.
He said: "There are still balls involved, but this time there the ones attached to our motion capture suits, and I still looked ridiculous, but otherwise they're very different."
