Elizabeth Banks joins Kaufman film
Elizabeth Banks has a new film role alongside Steve Carell
Elizabeth Banks has joined the cast of Charlie Kaufman's latest movie.
The Role Models star will play a highly-regarded actress in Frank Or Francis, a musical satire about Tinseltown, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Her character is having an affair with a film director played by Little Miss Sunshine's Steve Carell.
Other stars already on the cast list include Nicolas Cage, Jack Black, Catherine Keener and Kevin Kline.
Elizabeth, 37, will next be seen alongside Sam Worthington in Man On A Ledge and then in the eagerly anticipated Hunger Games.
She also has a recurring role as the partner of Alec Baldwin's network executive Jack Donaghy in award-winning TV series 30 Rock.
