Cruz dodges engagement questions

Penelope Cruz has dodged questions about her rumoured engagement to Javier Bardem by saying "I choose not to share some things".
The Broken Embraces actress, 35, appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman but resisted the host's line of questioning, People.com reports.
When Letterman asked her if she was engaged to Javier, 40, she answered: "I don't feel comfortable talking about my private life in public."
When he pressed on, she continued: "I've been here a few times with you, you know I'm tough. One thing I don't do, I don't lie about my personal life.
"It's sacred to me. It's my life. But I don't give details about it because I am allergic to that."
Letterman said finally: "So you know, but you don't want to tell me?"
Penelope giggled, and said: "I know, but I choose not to share some things!"
