Bigelow's Hurt Locker wins top gong

Kathryn Bigelow's new movie The Hurt Locker was named best feature at the 19th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards.
The award for the film about a bomb squad in Iraq - which stars Guy Pearce and Jeremy Renner - was presented at a glitzy ceremony in New York.
The film also won the gong for best ensemble performance.
The Gothams named Food, Inc the best documentary and Robert Siegel, the writer and director of Big Fan, won for breakthrough director trophy.
Catalina Saavedra won the breakthrough actor award for her performance in The Maid.
