Stepbrothers actor John C. Reilly officially announced that 'Wreck It Ralph 2' at the Galway Film Fleadh yesterday.

The announcement happened during 'An afternoon with John C. Reilly' - an interview and Q&A session with the Hollywood actor.

Speaking on the announcement, he said

"I guess I can say it here, for the first time... Wreck It Ralph two is coming!"

"It was agreed right here in Galway, on the phone".

Reilly kept the enthralled crowd entertained with light quips throughout the interview. At one point, he was reassured that a clip from his film would "not make the radio edit" to which he responded "Ah, f*ck off" to laughter from the crowd.

The actor spoke at length about his childhood and his Irish-sounding surname, before taking questions from assembled festival-goers.

Later in the afternoon, he then performed at St. Nicholas' Collegiate Church in Galway together with his band, John C. Reilly and Friends.

Following the gig, Reilly attended the annual HMV Supporting Irish Film Party in the Veranda Terrace & Bar at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

There, he shared the spotlight with Irish musicians HamsandwicH and Keywest, as well as Moone Boy's young star David Rawle.
