Octoberfest will be returning to George’s Dock in the IFSC from September 17th to October 4th.

The festival will hold 'Bavarian lunch' on Monday to Friday, featuring traditional German food and Black Forest specialities.

The 'Bavarian Games' also make a return and anyone interested is asked to register here and challenge friends, family and co-workers! See more information below.

Attendees wishing to stay at the event after 10pm must purchase a 'Germanic meal voucher' for €6.

The organisers say that the cost of the food voucher goes towards securing an Irish late licence, but that €1 from the sale of each ticket will be donated to charity.

Octoberfest will be open until 12am for the duration of its stay at the IFSC.

Send us your Octoberfest pics on Twitter using #SummerFest to make our gallery or email contact@independent.ie with subject line 'summerfest'.
