'Beer Can Jousting' is the latest internet sensation - courtesy of Electric Picnic revellers
A group of Electric Picnic revellers have gone viral online for a clip of a challenge they claim to have invented - 'Beer Can Jousting'.
The clip, which was filmed at Electric Picnic, shows four young men engaging in a jousting battle with poles made of beer cans.
Gary Oak, Mikey Morris, Dave Kane and Niall Kennedy were the jokers featured in the clip, along with 'referee' Evan Dolan. The footage was capture by silent partner Eoghan Savage.
In between acts at Electric Picnic the five friends decided to get up to some devilment and the resulting footage has been viewed over 16,000 times on Facebook along with the caption "EP never fails to be one of the scauldiest weekends of the year".
Peter Ganley, of YouTube comedy duo Final Boss Media, quipped in the comments that the "Game Of Thrones budget (is) seriously gone down this season".
'Beer Can Jousting' may have been made famous at Electric Picnic, but it wasn't invented there. Videos on YouTube dating back to 2012 detail the jousting exploits of beer drinkers all over the world.
