Donegal country music star Lisa McHugh is one of the new faces of Ireland's first international channel Irish TV. She will present series 'On the Road' travelling around the country and meeting some of Ireland's most popular singers, such as Daniel O'Donnell.
"Daniel is very fond of golfing so we tried a hole in one," she said. "I wasn't very good wearing heels on the golf course but it was a great laugh."
The station will feature over 1,000 hours of home produced programming with 40 new series.
YouTube sensation Paul Treyvaud will rustle up signature dishes in a variety of unusual settings.
"I could be beside a lake or up in a tree making a sandwich," Treyyard said.
Country music legends Foster and Allen - who yesterday endured the Ice Bucket Challenge at the Shelbourne Hotel - will front their own music show and the station will provide live coverage from the National Ploughing Championships.
