First acts announced for Indiependence festival including Editors, The Kooks, Ash, Bell X1 and more
The first acts have been announced for Indiependence Music & Arts Festival 2016 and fans will not be disappointed.
Among the names lined up for the festival at Mitchelstown, Cork from Friday July 29 to Sunday July 31 are Editors, The Kooks and Idelwild.
Irish acts Bell X1, Ash and The Strypes will also perform as well as Hudson Taylor, The Blizzards, Little Hours, King Kong COmpany, Pleasure Beach, Brian Deady, CC Brez, Saint Sister, Coasts and Stephanie Rainey.
The festival is in its 11th year with last year's event the biggest year to date.
Three tiers of early bird tickets have already sold out, with weekend camping tickets for the festival now on sale at €119.
Outside of music, fans will enjoy the return of the Beer Hall Stage, Comedy & Spoken Word, the Silent Disco, Festi-Huts and a wide variety of food options.
