Cookery exhibitions and celebrity chef interviews will be the order of the day for this year's Taste of Dublin festival.

French celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli is among those to have confirmed an appearance at the event.

The TV chef, who used to have a restaurant on Dawson Street, Dublin, will be back in the capital city as one of the big-name additions to the four-day event which kicks off in the Iveagh Gardens on Thursday, June 15.

Also on the list for foodies this year are Cork chef Darina Allen, Gill Meller, Neven Maguire and Dubliner Anna Haugh, who used to work at Gordon Ramsey's London House restaurant.

Most will be taking part in cookery demonstrations.
