After the Fleadh
There's still plenty of Sligo excitement when the music's over

So after all that Fleadh excitement, what do you do next? Visit Sligo, of course! We asked Sligo Tourism to put together a guide to some of the many great highlights and attractions on offer for the rest of the year, including festivals, adventure sports and ideas for some good old-fashioned R&R.
You can even mix business with pleasure; in November Sligo will host the Surf Summit when hundreds of tech investors, start-ups, entrepreneurs and industry enthusiasts travel to Sligo to do business and sample a range of outdoor activities that will include surfing, kayaking and kite surfing. A spin-off from the Web Summit, it will take place straight after the now-renowned Dublin conference and will showcase the best this dynamic county has to offer.
Sligo Tourism exists to promote the economic, social and cultural development of Sligo, with particular emphasis on tourism. Run by a voluntary board of 18 directors, it brings together a partnership including Sligo County Council, Sligo LEADER Partnership, Local Enterprise Office, Failte Ireland, Sligo Chamber of Commerce and business people.
