Did you spot these plot holes in Monday night's Coronation Street?
Some Coronation Street fans were left disappointed with Monday night's much-anticipated episode.
Caz has been orchestrating a revenge plot on Maria and now the Weatherfield police have the impression that the hairdresser has done away with her former lodger, thanks to some incriminatory bloodstains found in the flat.
On Monday night's episode, viewers saw Caz break into Maria's flat while she at work. She deliberately cut her hand and smeared blood on the hairdresser's scissors in order to plant some evidence for her 'murder'.
But some eagle-eyed viewers noticed that something about the scene didn't quite make sense.
How could Caz - who is missing and assumed dead - manage to sneak into Maria's flat without being seen by someone? Anyone? The Weatherfield residents are a nosy bunch, surely someone would have spotted Caz sneaking about in broad daylight? There was no hint of a disguise either.
Viewers also pointed out that Maria hadn't been home since finishing her shift at the salon. If that's the case, how did her bag and hairdressing tools end up in the flat?
Fans of the show also feel that Caz's motives for attacking Maria are a little far-fetched. She was devastated when Maria rejected her romantic advances and wasn't too happy when Maria eventually kicked her out of the flat due to her increasingly unstable behaviour. But does it really justify such a twisted revenge plot?
This is soapland so it's probably best not to apply logic and reason to her motives.
@itvcorrie how did Maria's scissors get in her flat when she had just grabbed them in the salon and didn't go inside her flat#caz#maria— Christine J Jeavons (@LadyCJeavons) November 7, 2016
