Celeb Twitter Rants

|

Sile Seoige
A year after her Kylie orgasm tweet, Sile was back hitting the headlines again this weekend after she tweeted about the Late Late Show and it's questionable line-up. "Are the days of the likes of Peter Ustinov, Spike Milligan and Germaine Greer gone forever?" she lamented.
Charlie Sheen
In just over 24 hours of joining Twitter last March, Charlie Sheen gained one million followers, which was reported as “the fastest in Twitter’s history” by Guinness. Notable Charlie Sheen quotes like “Tiger blood” and “Winning” emerged as trending hashtags. According to one report Sheen’s sudden venture into Twitter was advised by a team of experts that focuses on celebrity endorsements via Facebook and Twitter.
Miley Cyrus: The teenage pop star ranted against Urban Outfitters teh American store, accusing them of stealing designs from other artists and funding campaigns against gay marriage. "Love that everybody is hating on Urban Outfitters," she wrote. "Not only do they steal from artists but every time you give them money, you help finance a campaign against gay equality." She has since quit her Twitter account.
Ashton Kutcher
It's a little ironic given that he replaced Twitter madman Charlie Sheen on Two And A Half Men, but Kutcher had his own moment of madness when he tweeted about his favourite American football team firing its head coach amidst a rape scandal. “How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass," he tweeted. "I find it in poor taste.” Kutcher had to delete the tweet subsequently after it landed him in a lot of hot water.
Will Ferrell
Justin Bieber may have more than 16 million followers on Twitter, but that didn't stop funny man Will Ferrell from casting the first stone whilst they were both waiting to go on the same chatshow. “Sitting in green room with Justin Bieber... must resist urge to roundhouse kick him in his midget face.”
Kelly Osbourne
Kelly Osbourne became very irate last week after one website alleged she overdid the partying after the Golden Globes. She took to her Twitter page to reply: “Thats funny radar because i was not even at any of the after parties i was working!!!! @radar_online please stop writing bulls**t about me i did not even go to any golden globe parties i was working! i will say this till I’m blue in the face I DO ENOUGH STUPID S**T YOU DONT NEED TO MAKE THINGS UP!"
Kanye West
The rapper was so annoyed by the negative reaction to his fashion line, that he took to Twitter to vent. In one hour he posted 86 tweets, in which he variously quoted Leonardo da Vinci ("Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication") and George Bernard Shaw ("But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas").
Solange Knowles
The singer and famous little sis of Beyonce got herself all worked up after the birth of baby Blue Ivy Carter. The singer/model/DJ went on a Twitter rant about the disrespect her receives: "We are supposed to be super human and watch people we love get slandered, lied on and ridiculed. It is one of THE hardest things to accept," Auntie Solange tweeted.

Time was when celebrities issued statements via the media and gave press interviews. However nowadays there's an open forum for feuds and rants - Twitter. And it's much more fun....
