This Irish artist takes inspiration from Dublin place names to create incredible works of art.
Brian Lowry is an artist from Stillorgan who has created a series of illustrations that offer a literal take on Dublin place names.
Each piece is intended to show the city "through the eyes of a five-year-old".
He was inspired to create the project when he found out that he's due to become a father in September.
"Originally I wanted to create unique artwork for our sons nursery," he told Independent.ie
"Having imagined these places as a toddler myself - Poolbeg towers being a cloud making factory etc. - I wanted to give him an imaginative journey through Dublin that we can take with us no matter where we live in the future."
See if you can guess the place before scrolling (slowly) through the names at the end of each illustration.
No cheating now.
The illustrations are currently part of a personal project which is available to view on Brian's Behance portfolio.
However, he'll soon develop them into prints/t-shirts which will be available to purchase by contacting him by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
