Stephen Fry's meeting of minds with Senator David Norris
It was a meeting of minds last night when Stephen Fry sat down for a conversation with Senator David Norris at Joyce's alma mater, Belvedere College.
Fry was in town for the Bloomsday Festival and the topic of James Joyce and Ulysses was one he said he was particularly looking forward to talking about.
The two men had discussed Joyce before when Fry interviewed Norris for a BBC documentary about the literary great.
Their chat ventured through Joyce's themes of love, sex, politics and religion, and beyond those to Fry himself from his long acting and TV career to his personal life.
Fry was in town with his husband Elliot Spencer and recently spent time here shooting new period drama Love and Friendship.
