Review: No Turning Back by Marcus Sakey
The Thursday Night Crew are four old friends who meet every week for drinks.
Alex is the bartender, Mitch is a doorman in a fancy hotel, Jenn is a travel agent and Ian a trader.
But each of them has good reason to be dissatisfied with their lives, and when their resentments bubble one over one evening they hatch a plan that will change their lives forever. They plan a heist that will pay for them to escape the drudgery of their day-to-day existence. But when it goes wrong, and people die, their very lives are at risk.
A slow build up, but when the action starts, this is a cliffhanger to the bloody end.
