Pippa Middleton's columnist career comes to a premature end

Pippa’s latest career move as a newspaper columnist has come to a premature end.

The 30-year-old sister of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton was at the helm of a Sport and Social piece in the Daily Telegraph, but reportedly failed to make an impression on the readers.

Pippa was believed to have been paid a significant fee to write about her activities and musings.

“It’s fair to say reader reaction to Pippa’s writing wasn’t great,” a source told the Sunday Mirror.

“There were also a few issues with deciding what topics Pippa should and shouldn’t write about.”

Pippa’s column ran for a total of six months and last appeared in the newspaper in March.

A spokeswoman confirmed the socialite’s column had ended and Pippa had moved on ‘to do other things for other publications’.

Pippa is the author of one book on party-planning called ‘Celebrate’, but unfortunately the book has reportedly only sold 18,000 copies.

Meanwhile, Pippa’s rear has also been the subject of scrutiny after a French TV presenter has accused her of enhancing her posterior with some well-placed padding at her sister’s royal wedding.

The presenter said she believes Pippa created an ‘optical illusion’ under her Alexander McQueen dress.
