Out of print? Not for long

Published 30/04/2006 | 00:11

A FREE, virtual library launches tomorrow at irishliteraryrevival.com.

Founders Philip Casey and Patrick Chapman saw a need for a place where readers could find books no longer in print, and where writers could find new audiences.

Chapman and Casey, both authors with several books each to their names, invited writers with out-of-print books to take part. Every previously published and now unavailable book of Irish interest (in English or Irish) is eligible, be it poetry, fiction, non-fiction or drama.

The writer simply sends an electronic copy of their eligible book, with details of its history and status, to librarian@irishliteraryrevival.com and the 'librarians' put it up.
